Dateline, an American weekly television news magazine show of NBC, examined the mystery of the murder of Chris Jenkins on Friday night.
Basically, Chris Jenkins was the University of Minnesota student who disappeared on the night of the Halloween of 2002 in downtown Minneapolis. From the day when Chris Jenkins went missing up to this day when his murder mystery is still a question, Dateline NBC looked into the depths and the heights of every consideration.
Dateline NBC had Steve and Jan Jenkins, the parents of Chris Jenkins, talk about their son and explained why they think that it is not likely for Chris to kill himself as opposed to the reports given out by the police.
It was after attending a Halloween party in 2002 when Chris Jenkins never came back to his dorm again and was reported missing. After four days of the search of the authority, the body of Chris Jenkins was found in a small river. With the condition of the body, it was obvious that it was long since the person stopped breathing.
At first, the case of the disappearance of Chris Jenkins was dismissed because it was a successful suicide according to the initial investigations. However, due to the insistent parents of Chris Jenkins, the murder is being looked into as they believe that their son was murdered.
